Mr Moore's celebrated work as an actor (leading roles on stage at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Court, Almeida, West End and on screen) writer (he is a published playwright with several full length plays and libretti for operas on stage and screen) and director (e.g. at the Royal Exchange, Donmar, Almeida, major international opera productions, stage plays and an award winning film) have been, and continue to be, of exceptional and outstanding quality and at the highest levels of achievement.
We have collaborated on three productions. The first a Channel Four film entitled "Horse Opera". (This was shot in Tucson Arizona with Mr Moore as writer and appearing as Billy the Kid opposite my Jesse James.)
Our second project was my opera "Cask of Amontillado" (in Barbados) and thirdly "Tell Tale Heart" commissioned by Royal Opera House for Opera Shots ROH2 which Mr Moore directed.
All these ventures demonstrated Mr Moore's remarkable levels of brilliance.
The word Genius is often misused, but in Mr Moore's case it is merely an accurate description of his abundant gifts.
